Julie Baxter - Health Development Worker
Julie Baxter joined the Healthy Lifestyle team in 2004 as
Co-ordinator of the ESF funded training programme the Guide project.
Since the Guide project ended in March 2006 Julie has become a full time Health development worker for the Healthy Lifestyle team. Julie specialises in working with young people aged between 11-18 but is also involved in adult education.
She is also responsible for the Wellbeing Cafe, held in Holme Wood on a monthly basis. This is primarily for people with dementia and their carers.
Julie has a Diploma in Human geography, a BSc Hons in Social Sciences, a Diploma in Professional Studies (Youth & Community), a Certificate in Bereavement Support Work (adults & children) and a CIPD Certificate in Training Practice.
Julie is also a qualified OCN Tutor Assessor and qualified OCN Internal Moderator.
